Hey there!
I’m Tracey O’Shea, a Functional Nurse Practitioner who believes in and practices healthcare that empowers people to
strive for optimal health span and longevity. I’m here to support friends, family, and patients to find their voice and
best health.
I know exactly what it’s like to be an overwhelmed, overworked, and overcommitted new parent who is striving to fit it all in and keep my health as a top priority! It’s not easy.
In 2013, I developed shortness of breath, fatigue, and anxiety. It was sudden and worrisome. Come to find out, I had a mitral valve prolapse, a condition where one of the heart valves isn’t pumping correctly and can result in enlargement of the heart. Needing surgery at the age of 30 was very scary. I prepared myself the best I could but still felt overwhelmed and lost. After surgery, I knew I had found a new passion, a purpose to help others find their healthiest selves through preventative and heart-healthy medicine.
I knew I couldn’t do that by practicing modern medicine. I made a leap, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I chose Functional Medicine. I chose to put my health and well-being first, and with these choices, I found that this was also the best way to help others achieve their health and wellness goals.
I’ve worked with a range of patients—some are looking to optimize their health and others are truly suffering from chronic, debilitating diseases. But the one thing we all have in common is we want to enjoy life to its fullest and spend it with the people we love.
